Remember When?
Remember when you were in high school and you came home every day, did your 10 math problems and then called up some friends to go do something crazy and fun? Remember when you would wonder what mom was making for dinner? Remember when you had a social life? Remember when cramming for a test meant 20 minutes of studying during the study hall preceding the class of which the test is to be taken? Remember when your parents paid for your food? Remember when you had money to spend on non-toiletry items?
Now we have 4 hours of homework, have no social life, cafeteria food is the option for nutritional substance, cramming for a test is staying up til 4 am studying 6 chapters worth of material covered in a single week, and when we DON’T have homework which is almost never…the most exciting thing that you actually feel like doing is eating cookie muffins, surfing pinterest, and watching random Netflix videos for 3 hours.
Boy! But I love college

At the Watering Hole
Before I begin this post I must state that the title should have been “Kinsey is the best” because that’s what she told me to say so Kudos to Kinsey.
In the past couple weeks, it has seemed like my suite has become the gathering spot for all the Sears residents to come eat Pistachios, listen to music, and talk about the latest news. Megan and Victoria always have someone in their room and Shelby is always in our room and most days we sit in our room at night and soon a simple ratta-tat-tat can be heard. Who could it be? It’s Kinsey! shocker! This is followed by 2 hours of laughing, riveting conversation and watching Kinsey mutilating pistachios and spitting the remnants into an old Kleenex box.
Have I mentioned that I love College?

The Day I remembered I had a blog.
So as I am sitting on my bed at Harding, after having spent the weekend in Granbury, I notice a link for my blog address in my favorites bar. I exclaim in surprise “OMG! I HAVE A BLOG!” So to the hypothetical person who actually cares that I have a blog, I apologize for not updating in a while. I am going to better I promise!
6 weeks here at Harding, What an adventure it has been too! This weekend is Fall Break and the campus is all a’flurry with students ready to go home for non-cardboard food, and a bathroom with 1 door! Classes are going fairly well, I would say, though I have an obscene amount of homework on more nights than not. However, being the nerd that I am have kept up just fine. So far Theatre Appreciation is the reigning champion of favorite classes. The teacher is HILARIOUS!
I am regularly attending a fantastic bible study on Tuesday nights and wish we had it 2wice a week, because it is terrific. Also, I have met one of the greatest people to ever walk this campus. My best friend, Shelby. Such a sweet heart she is too! If you have ever met her, you know what I mean when I say that she is such a blessing to be around.
*ALERT ~ My parents are doing great in Singapore. Please watch this video to see what a great ministry they are.
I will post again soon I promise. You guys got to keep me accountable now, ya hear?
Much Love to all you who are reading this
Joyful blessings to you all!

DAY 3! Best Day so far!
Wow, Today the last day of Impact and Day 3 of my new adventure has been BY FAR the best day ever!
I got up this morning bright and early and headed to church with Alexis, Victoria and Micah. WE went to Downtown Church of Christ. I liked it a lot but I’m not sure if it fits me but the singing was AMAZING there!
Then I went to Lunch with some amazing people and after 2 hours we had finally been seated and given food. It was ridiculous and my taco meat wasn’t cooked. Not a good restaurant experience but HEY, I got to eat with my friends and my lunch experience was wonderful!
And the kicker of the day is we went to Heber Springs! O yeah! After a 2 hour detour(what’s with 2 hour delays today?)we got to Greers Ferry and this girl did jump off some cliffs! It took me awhile to work myself up to it but I jumped! props for me!
Because of the delay we missed closing ceremonies which was sad but it was a wonderful end to Impact anyways Class starts in the morning, and I am N.E.R.V.O.U.S! Prayers please!
Until Tomorrow!

Day 2 of FantasmicterrificawesomewonderfullovelyPALOOZA
Another Successful day in the life of..ME! The day was filled again with friendships and joyful blessings. We started the morning with another hilarious presentation from Impact Crew. LOVE THEM!
Highlights include:
#1) White Party! It was pretty dressy and Wedding-ish but still fun. Had some witty repartee with good friends and enjoyed some old fashioned laughter!
#2) Ricardo. Worker in the Caf whom we engaged in a very intense religious debate. He is so sweet.
#3) Extravaganza. It was purty entertaining. I loved seeing the Volleyball team play
Another great day out of the way and a happy me to show for it! Until tomorrow

Today has been incredible! Todays agenda was full and fun. College is turning out to have some pretty exciting things. I know classes haven’t started but I am having so much fun. Here is my highlights of today.
Numero Uno: Impact Opening Assembly ~ Bahaha these people cracked me up! The Impact leaders showed videos on tips on how to be a good roommate. They were so very entertaining to say the least.
Numero B : 80s dinner. No explanation needed. Best night. ever! the end…
Number Tres: Dale K Comedy Hypnotist ~ O my goodness! This man nearly made me faint from lack of oxygen to my brain after laughing so hard. I can’t explain it. You must check him out. You will not forget it!
What a great start to the Semester!
Until tomorrow! ~Jeremiah 29:11
